I took my first photography class in high school. I was instantly hooked on the process of creating a print from start to finish. I continued to seek out photography knowledge, and built a darkroom in my basement.
In 2005, after taking photography classes at Lansing Community College, I jumped into the photography business. I shot my first wedding, and worked as an intern photographer for The City Pulse Newspaper.
From 2006 to 2013, I worked for The Greater Lansing Woman Magazine as an event photographer. During that time, my photographs were also featured in The Lansing State Journal, The NOISE, and the Greater Lansing Business Monthly. I also photographed corporate events for organizations such as The State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
I graduated from Lansing Community College in 2011 with my Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Currently based in Chicago working in the Marketing field with a focus on graphic design.
